For the photography exhibition De Terugkeer (The Return) at the Nicolaï Church in Appingedam, I guided Annemieke in reconnecting with her roots. Born and raised in Ghana, she became the focal point of a series where I used a slide projector to overlay photographs from her past onto her silhouette. I then captured images of this symbolic 'Return' to her origins.
