Connected began after my accident in 2020, when a brain injury forced me into a long period of silence and isolation. During that time, I spent most of my days in nature. I saw few people, but I was never alone. Surrounded by animals, I started to really see, to notice the small details, the expressions, the individuality of each being.
The more time I spent outside, the more I realised that every animal has its own personality, its own rhythm, and its own way of being. Each one unique.
In Connected, I try to capture moments of closeness and recognition, a look, a touch, a feeling of being seen. My images go beyond documentation; they invite you to step into the moment and feel the presence of the animal, as if you were there yourself.
Each photograph is an encounter: between myself and the animal, between the animal and the viewer, and sometimes even between animals themselves. My aim is always to reveal what makes each animal, and each moment, unique.
This series is about connection, we are all part of the same living world.
