Voor haarsalon Mogeen heb ik met Janneke Meijer de afspraken kaartjes ontworpen.
De vintage meubelstukken vielen ons op en Hester Wernert-Rijn (eigenaresse Mogeen) vertelde ons dat ze materialen en producten mooier vindt worden hoe ouder het wordt,
het begint dan meer te leven. Ook viel het ons op dat er veel tijdschriften in de salon lagen. Het leek ons dan ook een prachtig idee om deze tijdschriften een 2e leven te geven door er afspraken kaartjes van te maken. Met een ontwikkelde tool kunnen de hairstylisten met gemak de juiste formaten uit het tijdschrift scheuren en elke zijde bestempelen om zo tot het afspraken kaartje te komen.
Kant 1: Omcirkelt de stylist vervolgens de maand en dag waarop de volgende afspraak is gemaakt. En daaronder is ruimte voor de naam van de stylist.
Kant 2: Staan de openingstijden en de contact gegevens.
For Mogeen hair salon I designed a new appointment card in the shape of a business card in collaboration with Janneke Meijer. One of the things that caught our attention in the hair salon were the pieces of vintage furniture. The owner of Mogeen, Hester Wernert-Rijn, told us that she thinks materials and products get more beautiful with age, and start to look more lively. Another thing that we noticed was the sheer amount of magazines spread throughout the salon. We thought it would be a beautiful idea to give these magazines a second life by reusing them as the base for the appointment cards. We designed a tool that would make it easy for Mogeen’s hairstylists to tear a piece of paper from the magazine and use a stamp on both sides to turn it into the appointment card.
Side 1: The stylist can circle the date for the next appointment. Underneath there’s room for the name of the stylist.
